Reading these reviews I cant imagine why some people leave home. They'll complain about anything. How can a resort help it if someone is a giant and wont fit in the bathtub. Tahiti Village was fantastic. If people bothered to check things out before arriving they would kniow that it is not right in ther middle of the strip. Thats what most of us like about it! We had 3 adults and 3 teens. We all loved the place. Adjoining rooms were great. Nice kitchens. Well equipped. Lovely bathrooms. Very clean. Facilities were excellent. Good shuttle service. Totally impressed and would stay again. By the way, i've stayed in the TI, the Venetian and Circus Circus. They all have their good and bad points. People should chill out and enjoy Vegas.
Nothing really. It was great value for money. And loved having Dennys right there. Oh yeah - and the outlet centre.

We had 2 attached rooms & it was great. The rooms were clean. It's a good place to be with kids if you want to keep them away from the Strip enviroment.
The hideabeds were ok for kids but not great for adults.I would ask for a room facing the pool if I went again.

The Conceirges (Mike and etc.)was great full of knowledge and made us and our guest feel like V.I.P. Except there was one conceirge an older lady with blonde hair who was very rude. We had problems with our toilet and hot water the janitors was their within an hour. The Front desk personal was great, but I must give thanks also to the people in the shop they were more than helpful, patient and friendly. You are away from the vegas strip, but across the street from the outlet and walgreens. Housekeeping great and never hesitated on anything. Check-out time was 10 a.m. the instructions stated there is a fee, but if you ask they will extended it without a fee. We had a great time and definitely already recommended it to my friends, family and co-workers.
They need more parking, you have to share with individuals who go to Denny's restuarant. The Denny's are right on the premises. On certain days the Denny's have valet parking in the morning. They are doing construction on the roadway and you would have to detour. The one bedrooms are great and sizeable but, the refrigerator are the small ones and not the one in the picture which is misleading. We went shopping before we went to the resort and found the refrigerator smaller the one that fit under the counter. The laundry area and exercise center was in building 5 only.

The pool and hot tub area was beautiful. Lazy river was really nice. We loved the "Tahiti" concept. All the beautiful palm trees and water falls was wonderful. Loved the fact of walking out to the pool in a beach like setting with sand! That was cool. Shuttle service was wonderful and all of the drivers were nice, informative and adhered to a strict schedule. We even missed it a couple of times by mere seconds!! But was completely our fault. We even liked the fact that Denny's was right next door. Not a favorite but at 3 and 4am, it was cool to have someplace opened that served food. Our room was nice enough and our bed was very comfy! Loved the pillows!
We didn't like the fact that the description of Tahiti Village says "on the strip" but does not tell you how far south on the strip it really is. I was impressed to have the Concierge of the hotel call us to confirm our arrival but only to find out he was simply trying to get us to go on a time-share tour. I was equally appalled when he asked for my credit card number to charge $40.00 on it for something I don't even know what I was paying for. When I told him no and that I'd never give my credit card over the phone. He informed me that he wouldn't have all of my information if he wasn't really from Tahiti Village. I told him if we were interested in whatever he was selling, I'd rather discuss with my husband and do it face to face when we arrive. The concierge came back with; well I'm getting married and need to do it now. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL! Needless to say, we did not stop at the Concierge's desk but once and that was as soon as we checked in - we were there for a full week!! We were not asked about smoking or non-smoking when we checked in which was okay since I requested smoking when I made the reservation... However, we were given a non-smoking room and had to request to be moved to smoking. We did with no problem. The reservationists said we could see the strip from our room window, but didn't say it would be looking across a bunch of sand dunes and a parking lot and pretty much only seeing the outline of a couple of hotels and the stratosphere! We were not told that cable TV was extra. After channel surfing looking for a channel guide, we finally gave up and listened to the radio. My husband is 6'4 and had no room to stretch his legs in the tub. The tub was very deep which I loved but even sitting straight up my husband still had to bend his legs because of the short length of the tub. He gave up and got out. Very uncomfortable and really needed that soak after long days of walking. We would have loved that convenience of being in our room for a hot soak instead of having to go to the hot tub everytime. The small refrigerator was functional and kept our items "cool" but not cold. Couldn't find a temperature setting. It would have been nice to have cold water when we returned to our room. Having the ice machine ONLY on the 1st floor is a little crazy and very inconvenient as well since our fridge didn't keep anything cold AND we were on the 6th floor! I don't think Tahiti Village will see us again.

Liked the pool and lazy river areas as well as the hotel lobby lounge area. Liked having a Denny's on site. Liked the fact the shuttle drivers were friendly and on time.
Didn't like the view from our room window. All we could see were empty lots, parking areas and th car rental place.

Stayed at the Tahiti Sept. 18 - 21. Had an excellent room, very clean with a great king sized bed, Two HDTV's, and kitchenette with granite countertops. Bathroom fixtures were new and the shower / tub were super clean. Sorry we didn't have time to use the water park facilities as they looked like they would be loads of fun. Coffee and carryouts were handy from the adjacent Denny's and a huge outlet mall is just across the street....Try the Tahiti and you will like it!
Can't think of a single thing. If you want the downtown strip it is a tad away but the expressway is right there and you are also close to the airport and rental car return.

This was our first revisit as owners. We found the staff in all departments to be phenomenal to fulfilling our needs and requests. The shuttle service to the strip was fantastic. Kudos! Kudos! Kudos! to the shuttle drivers. We found them to be very informative and knowledgeable on how to find your way around the strip. They always verified where you wanted to go and made sure you were aware of pick-up and drop off times, and more importantly made sure you were on the right shuttle!
The shuttle schedule was upheld to the minute and was always on time, unless the weather or heavy traffic caused delay. In a weeks stay, this only happened 1 time and then it was only 15 minutes late.
We loved the shuttle service to the Food for Less grocery store, as the convenient stores are very pricey.
The shuttle service took you to the grocery store and gave you 45 minutes to shop. This shuttle is available a couple times a week. This trip is worth the savings, especially for a family that might be trying to get the most value for your buck.
Tahiti Joes restaurant offers 2 for 1 dinner specials, and appetizers, and we didn't even have to ask. However pay attention to the times these are offered. Happy hour was great, and reduced rates were available.
We loved the use of the grills. I had a difficult time trying to light the grill, and a staff member immediately rendered assistance.
The lazy river was opened, however we were disappointed that we could not take advantage because of the rain. The hot tub was in operation 24 hours and there were some diehards who were brave enough to endure the cold and the rain! God Bless them!
We stayed in the Bora Bora unit. It was fully equipped with quality dishes, pots and pans, utensils, coffee pot, drinking pitchers, and much more. The appliances were top of the line, and of course the dishwasher was a wonderful plus. Housekeeping was available with a simple phone call and were very prompt in their service. There were always plenty of towels. They service the unit once during the week and all linens are replenished.
Take advantage of the jet tub in the unit. How relaxing, after a day of walking on the strip. Always plenty of hot water no matter what time of day, but use caution to the temperature as it can scald you. The steam shower is another wonderful amenity.
Did you know as owners you always have the right to stay in the phase you purchased in, as well as the unit you purchaed? We are not aware of this information until we attended the owners update. Do not accept a lesser size unit than originally purchased.
Overall we were more than pleased and impressed that customer service still matters. We would not hesitate to stay again.
At time of check in we were not offered a smoking or non smoking accomodations. We were given a smoking room. Upon entering the unit, we found carpet burns in the bedroom and the furniture was discolored and dingy. Please report any damages right away to the front desk or there is a possibility you will be charged for such damages if not reported. We complained at the front desk and requested another unit. They immediately moved us to another unit, again restoring our faith in ownership as well as our belief that customer care is important to the resort.
We had adult guests with us and they found the sofa bed to be uncomfortable. However, most of them are. They are great for small children who do not have to worry about aches and pains. When we attended the owners update, we were informed that we could have updated the bora bora unit at time of check in for $60.00 a night which would have provided our guest with a regular bed and separate kitchen and bath areas. I am bewildered as to why this upgrade was not given as choice at check in, since it would have increased revenue for the resort as well as providing more comfort and privacy for our guests.
We were offered free show tickets and dinner buffet to attend the owners update. The buffet at the Sahara was less than adequate and when we arrived at the Hilton for the show, we were told the show was cancelled. To avoid this please verify your show before going. The Hilton said Tahiti was informed and Tahiti said they were not. We incurred monorail expenses. However, after registering a complaint with the manager he referred us to the head of marketing and our expenses were reimbursed by Tahiti plus given bonuses for our inconvenience.
The unit was beautifully decorated in the Tahitian theme. However the furniture we found was designed to please the eye and not for comfort. A recliner or two would be an added plus.
There was no TV guide. Unless you are a professional channel surfer, you had to guess what was on. The cable service did not even provide a guide channel. Would suggest the resort have a printed channel list for convenience to your guest.
